At the Heart of Gold
At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal
Directed by Erin Lee Carr and distributed by HBO, At the Heart of Gold tells the story of the USA Gymnastics abuse scandal through the voices of the survivors themselves: the gymnasts who testified, the impact statements that filled a week-long sentencing hearing, and the institutional failures that allowed the abuse to persist. It premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.
